If you're looking for a doctor who spends 5 minutes with you, look somewhere else. A number of things shocked me about my visit. 1. I was greeted by him when I 1st walked in. 2. I didn't see a clock in his office, which to me mShow moreeant it didn't matter if our appointment went over a set amount of time. I could go on and on, but the most important thing was 3. Shalom is one of the greatest people I know. I’ve been seeing him for around a year, I’ve seen many professionals before this but they were all corporate style and didn’t listen or observe. Shalom, what can I say ! He has helped me tremendously especially when I needed help the most, you were able to see me within 1 day of calling. Very smart, explains medications and teaches me a lot about my diagnoses. He takes his time and engages with you throughout the whole time you are there. Dr. Shalom has changed my life for the BETTER in a way I never even IMAGINED possible. Prior to Dr. Shalom…I had been in inpatient twice…intensive outpatient twice…and tried DOZENS of medications with OVER a DOZEN different psychiatrists…within 8 weeks…Dr. Shalom TURNED my life around…my life was in the gutter…where now, I am FLOURISHING! Dr.Odefadehan has a very personable demeanor, and is very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He takes the time to really get to know his patients history, is a good listener, and asks questions when clarification is needed in order to make the best possible decisions regarding treatment. Shalom is a lovely person and provider. He was highly recommended to me by my primary care doctor. I am so glad she passed along his information. He is thoughtful and very patient-centered. It can be daunting to try to find the right person to speak with about mental health or neurodiversity but he makes conversation very easy, and works to make sure patients are well informed about all options available.

I met Shalom (Dr. Adewumi Odefadehan) today for the first time and immediately felt I had known him for years. Very short wait, I got my appointment in 2 days. I only had one session, however it was very easy to open up and it felt like the doctor was really listening and hearing me out.

Sholom is a unique provider in delivering both psychiatric and clinical services. He’s helped me work through some challenging situations with my ADD, had effectively prescribed medication I felt comfortable with. Shalom is very personable and easy to talk to (for me at least) Very intuitive, engaging, and passionate about his work. Extra points to him for being conscious of the current issue in our country with patient over dosing, and his process getting the patient the proper dosage. Would recommend!

The doctor I've ever had!
Always comfortable and approachable during visits. He’s very thorough and explains situations as well as side effects in full detail rather than rushing through the visit like other health care providers I’ve had in the past. It’s also conveniently easy to schedule appointments online.
