Dr. Akrong is extremely patient. He makes himself available outside of scheduled meetings as well. He always answers any questions I have and does well to explain the goals that we are aiming for through his diagnoses. He has a kiShow morend demeanor and smile and I always feel comfortable in our meetings. He also genuinely loves to see the progress/success of his patients. Other than one small organization/ordering snafu, Dr. Akrong has always present and deliberate in his actions.

Oko Akrong, PMHNP-BC, RN, MSN, is passionate about taking care of patients. As a veteran, he knows first hand the effects of mental illness and how it negatively affects qualifications of life. Oko received undergraduate degree in nursing from Northern Illinois University a graduate degree in nursing administration from Elmhurst College, and PMHNP from Regis College. He works with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and more.
