About Steven Weisberger, DO

Steven Weisberger, DO, is a board-certified, award-winning physician and the medical director at Northwest Winds Recovery in Bangor, Maine. He has a special interest in addiction medicine.

Dr. Weisberger completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont in Burlington. He then attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, before completing an internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford and a family practice residency at Brighton Medical Center in Portland, Maine.

Upon completing his residency, Dr. Weisberger earned board certifications for family practice, a geriatrics certificate of added qualifications, and a medical review officer certification. Dr. Weisberger is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Integrative Pain Management, the Maine Osteopathic Association, and a diplomat of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice, among others.

Dr. Weisberger enjoys golfing, woodworking, woodturning, and traveling when he’s not caring for patients.
