I usually don’t write reviews so early without fully experiencing a product or service, but this feels different because I now have hope of a more functional and active life. More importantly , we have to Credit excellence. Dr. PaShow morecker is proficient and a leader in his field. He is also caring and has a sense of humor. The very first time I met him, I was impressed because he gave me hope. After reading about him online and watching his interview, and finding out that he worked at Moffit Cancer Center, I was even more impressed. And his family’s community involvement evokes trust. I’ve been in pain for over four years with the ability to do very little like making my bed, sleeping, using the toilet, etc. or inability to enjoy simple pleasures such as gardening, exercising, having lunch with a friend, going to a movie/concert, etc. I’ve seen many doctors who wouldn’t or couldn’t help me (one of the doctors said he was afraid he would make me worse. I now appreciate his honesty). Because of these previous experiences, it is evident to me that Dr. Packer did more than his best. The very first day of the spinal fusion, I was up and about using the bathroom independently. The very next day, I made four lapses around the nurse’s station. Two days after the surgery, I’m now in the kitchen preparing my full liquid soup without assistance :) These simples examples are to illustrate how drastically the spinal fusing surgery is already improving my life. I’m more excited about doing things now. Physical pain deters and discourages. I’m welcome a less pain-free existence. Two days after surgery: -The nagging pain in my behind is almost completely gone. -The pain that drove me madly to the hospital has lessened significantly. -To be honest, I still have intermittent pain and numbness, but I believe that I must now do my part: moving, standing, walking, and doing. It took time for the pain to magnify, so it will take le time to decrease- but I am seeing change and having a new outlook on life. I’m looking forward to physical therapy to help final stage of my recovery and begin living again. I have a strange feeling that I will experience full recovery. I would without hesitation recommend Dr. Packer to my family members and everyone suffering from spinal injuries because I not only trust his abilities and experiences, I’ve also experienced it just as I have shared in this review. There’s so much more to say. I’ll make myself available to anyone who want to talk to me about this experience. Dr. Packer, thank you very much. Dr. Packer office staff is amazing. I want to send a special shout out to Diana. She is empathetic, supportive, caring, super nice, and efficient. She handles everything with expediency. She made my urgency her urgency - something you don’t see every day - very rare quality in today’s world. Dr. Packer’s PA, Ms. Wang, is knowledgeable. She was able to answer all my questions. She followed up and through with everything she says she will do. She’s also caring and sympathetic. The Brain and Spine Center of South Florida values, respects, and cares for humans and quality of life. I believe that is the reason Dr. Packer chose to help me when other doctors refused and the reasons his staff is so wonderfully caring. I had an amazing experience. Thank you
I was referred to Doctor Packer through my attorney’s office and I was in very rough shape due to a car accident. I was slammed into while sitting at a red light. Concussion, several herniations in the cervical and thoracic areas Show moreof my spine. I was experiencing pain and numbness down my left arm and could barely use it. As you can imagine this affected my ability to work and provide for my family drastically. Dr. Packer recommended a series of injections and various treatments and did everything he possibly could to try and prevent a surgery given that I am only 31 years old. Unfortunately I ended up having to have cervical disc replacement surgery and I have to say since the surgery I have done a complete 180. The entire time i have treated with Dr. Packer I have received nothing but the best care. They listened to what my complaints were and accurately identified and treated the problems with little to no issue. I was extremely nervous about having the surgery Dr. Packer and the staff made the entire experience painless. Now I hope I never have to do anything like this ever again but should I need to I know where I need to go to get the best care. Thank you Dr. Packer and the entire team at Brain and Spine Center of South Florida in Delray Beach. It’s because of you that I now have my life back.

Dr. Packer was born and raised in New York. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and his medical degree from the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. Dr. Packer thrived in the program and was elected to the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Packer completed a surgery internship and a neurological surgery residency at the University of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals and Clinics. Then, he received training in neurosurgical oncology at Moffitt Comprehensive Cancer Center and Research Institute (also in Tampa).
Dr. Packer brings extensive surgical training and experience to the Brain and Spine Center of South Florida. As a managing partner, he offers the latest treatments for both trauma and elective surgery.

No problems, friendly staff
I was diagnosed with a "brain tumor" in the er of Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Packer is the most astute MD I ever encountered. He kept me calm, and I was scheduled for surgery a few days later. Everything went well. He is easy to talk to and his office is responsive to your needs.
Doctor Packer explains things carefully and listens carefully. I recommend him highly.

Dr Packer is a very professional person whom also cares. This year I had two replacements during one session, afterwards my headaches and neck compression feeling was gone. I am still pursuing treatment for further injuries, however I am satisfied that I choose to do the procedure with Dr Packer. Would recommmend.

Perfect, successful micro discectomy surgery on my L5 S1 herniated disc. Absolutely no pain or residual effects at all. Dr Packer and his team did everything possible to accelerate my timeline for the surgery, and that was deeply appreciated as I was in significant pain. Would highly recommend Dr Packer and his team to all.
