Laurel is very knowledgeable & took time to record all issues I have with other joints. I've had 5 replacements & she worked on the latest, my shoulder. After warming it up, she massaged the muscles to help get them to "learn" Show morehow to move within the replacement. Only one muscle is left after reverse, so all of the others have to take up the slack. I've learned more about what happens after a replacement here than from my surgeon.

The Manual Method of physical therapy works so much better than the traditional physical therapy where the therapist just puts the patient through various exercises. Manual Physical therapy helps to break down scar tissue after knee surgeries by actually manually manipulating the areas where the scar tissue has formed. Couple that with targeted exercises and the desired results, such as full rotation, are achieved quicker and better.
I had never been to physical therapy; my father is a client. The experience was very pleasant, from the initial phone contact, through the pre-visit paperwork over the Internet, to the initial greeting, followed by a thorough assessment of my issue. I highly recommend these people.
