About Laurie Schleper, PhD, LP

I have been a licensed psychologist in Colorado (PSY3005) since 2006 and have experience working in outpatient, medical, and school settings. I treasure the unique relationship between therapist and client and the privilege of walking side-by-side through the exploration, growth, and change process that occurs in therapy. My clinical style is rooted in a humanistic, client-centered approach in which I value authenticity, connection, and collaboration. Building on a relational foundation, I frequently implement evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy approaches. I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan (adults, adolescents, and children) in both therapy and psychological assessment. With youth, I often incorporate play-based intervention, movement, creativity, humor, and parenting support into my work.
