I've been a patient of Dr. Sunny Patel for several years and was devastated to learn he's no longer seeing patients. I had to find someone new. I decided to see Mary Highsmith and I was nervous going in. I don't do well with changShow moree but she was amazing as was her medical assistant. They were informative and patient and personable. She was able to calm and comfort me thru an injection, no easy feet;) Ha! I will be back of course and don't plan to try anyone else. She is the one!
I can not express how pleased I am with my latest office visit with NP Mary Highsmith at Achilles Foot & Ankle Center in Mechanicsville. She took the time to address all of my concerns. She tended to my issues and stressed the impShow moreortance of seeing a vascular doctor for additional care. The entire staff was friendly and attentive to all of my needs. Scheduling my appointment online was quick and easy. I was also pleased to learn that they now have Nail Clinic appointments.

"FNP Highsmith is an exceptional podiatrist! I recently visited her to have my callus removed from my foot, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked into her office, she greeted me warmly and made me feel comfortable. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Highsmith was professional and incredibly personable. She took the time to listen to my concerns and genuinely cared about my situation. Her clear communication and transparent approach made me feel comfortable!

Was there 1hr before I saw the NP , the check in process was 15 min in line which made me late, even though I got there early, need more admit staff.
Mary is always willing to spend time with me, to explain my issues and what I need to do. She is warm and friendly, and obviously concerned with providing me the best care possible at all times. She has many excellent suggestions, and sincere concern for my healing. I always look forward to my visits with her!

My appointment went well. The doctor was very friendly and thorough and explained my diagnosis and treatment in easy-to-understand terms. I did have to wait almost 40 minutes; it was very busy. But overall I am happy I addressed my foot pain and recommend this clinic and Mary Highsmith.
