Dr Young is the best surgeon as well as being very personable and caring! From the day I walked into the emergency room after my husband’s accident until our final visit today he was great. 9 months ago I didn’t know if my husbandShow more would live let alone walk after his accident. Dr Young assured me he would fix it. It was a rough two weeks in the hospital as this was not my husbands only injury but we made . I could not thank the doctor enough for what he did. This could not have been easy!
Dr. Young was recommended to us by a cousin who also had brain surgery. We could not have been happier. His bedside manor is excellent. He takes time with his patients. He has a sense of humor which certainly helps in this situatiShow moreon. Most importantly, after my wife had a brain tumor removed, she looked incredible and amazing only hours after surgery. Sitting up and joking, it was hard to tell that she had such an intricate procedure. This speaks volumes about the quality of Dr. Young.

Dr. Young earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Then, he enrolled at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, earning his medical degree.
Dr. Young brings more than 30 years of experience to the Brain and Spine Center of South Florida. He manages various neurological problems but specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors and hydrocephalus. Dr. Arnold Young has a very warm, compassionate, easy-going personality, and highly competent. He put me at ease , answering all my questions preceding emergency surgery in December. I was fortunate to have had Dr. Young as my neurosurgeon at that critical moment. His staff was always professional, courteous and helpful at all times.
