Ryan called me out on my rationalization for using drugs and lying to everyone my boyfriend sponsor doctor and my AAgroup. Well today I came clean to my sponsor doctor and with my honesty I feel like a weight has been lifted. I’m Show moretrying not to use pot but I use my medical card as an excuse. To be truly sober I must refrain from the use of any mind altering substances all of them so tomorrow will be day one (again) and I pray ? that I can stay sober. I’m going to go to NA and get an NA sponsor !
Ryan Carey is my new therapist, my old therapist retired after going there for twenty years I was reluctant to find a new therapist to say the least. When I met with Ryan for the first time I just rambled on about my whole historyShow more and I have a long history. He listened compassionately and just let me talk. See I suffer from bipolar alcoholism addiction and gambling. I take a lot of medication but I think I am leveled out. Now I’m working on spending money ( that I definitely do not have) and Rya

Ryan is a great listener I have been going through a lot my boyfriend is on Hospice for stage four lung cancer my mom passed 5/7/23 my dad passed 8/18/22 and my brother passed 6/9/21 so I have a lot to share he listens and offers solutions. I don’t always listen but it’s a work in progress. I am grateful to talk to him every week!??
Ryan is very kind and considerate and the patients well being is number one for Ryan.
Excellent
Best Mental help I’ve ever received in years
He really puts me at ease. I seem to open up more than I have to Ryan than any other therapist that I have had.
He makes me feel better about myself
Ryan is very good at listening and compassionate.
Good therapist easy to talk to
Ryan is a great person and I appreciate his listening ability and his words of wisdom.
My mother passed away last week and Ryan was so worried about how I was handling it and holding up. I told him I miss her terribly but she’s with my dad and brother now. She died so peacefully. Ryan continues to astonish me because he always knows how I am feeling and he’s so easy to talk to. Glad I found him!
Good therapist
This was my first time with Ryan . He made me feel comfortable and it was easy talking to him.
Ryan is wonderful with connecting to teens. He has a way of getting kids to open up and talk about what is troubling them.
Amazing empathy and care, I don’t know where I’d be without my care team.
Ryan does an amazing job with my son. He creates a safe space with open communication.
Very happy with the visit. Highly recommend this group.
