Dr. Khalsa obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California College of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. The school awarded her a dean’s scholarship and a Howard Hughes grant for her hard work. After her undergraduate work, Dr. Khalsa was a resident in family practice at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.
After spending 10 years in Family Practice, Dr. Khalsa began working in the field of Addiction. She has cared for patients at every level of treatment, from Detox, Residential, IOP, and PHP, and in the outpatient setting.
Throughout her career, Dr. Khalsa has consistently demonstrated a commitment to staying at the forefront of addiction medicine, constantly evolving her techniques and methods to align with the latest research and scientific advancements in the field.
