Ashley Carro, FNP-C, is a dedicated psychiatric and family nurse practitioner at Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services in Los Lunas and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She has experience in psychiatry, family medicine, and walk-in urgent care, with a passion for building positive relationships with patients, family members, physicians, and other medical professionals.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Continuing her education at the University of South Florida, Ashley achieved her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner.
She then served as a family nurse practitioner at Tampa Family Health Center. Following this, Ashley served as a family nurse practitioner in the Healthcare Clinic at Walgreens in Largo, Florida.
Relocating to New Mexico, Ashley pursued her master’s degree to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She served at the Minute Clinic Santa Fe in New Mexico during this time.
After completing her degree, she became the owner of a psychiatric and family practice at New Age Behavioral Health in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Ashley also served as a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing psychiatric medication management to clients five years and older at Presbyterian Medical Services via telehealth.
Ashley enjoys working alongside the Guadalupe Psychiatric and Mental Health Services team and looks forward to serving the Los Lunas and Rio Rancho community, providing quality care to new and current patients.
