About Dr. Bishoy Michael, MD

Dr. Bishoy Michael is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and member of the American Psychiatric Association and Maryland Psychiatric Society. He also sits on the board of directors for National Alliance on Mental Illness of Anne Arundel County. Dr. Michael received his Medical Degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten with Academic Honors. He then completed his General Psychiatry Residency in Miami, Florida, where he was Chief Resident of one of the largest psychiatry training programs in the county. Dr. Michael is licensed to practice in Maryland, Florida, New York, and California. He has treated a wide range of chronic and acute mental illnesses, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. He has a passion for mental health and strives to empower his patients through knowledge. Psychiatry is a partnership and he deeply believes a teamwork approach leads to the best outcomes.
