About Jayme Richards, LSW

Every person has the inherent ability to grow, heal and transform their lives. Over my last eighteen years as a social worker, I have gained valuable experience working with diverse populations on assorted issues. My areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, and depression. Other areas of knowledge include working with sexuality concerns, body image issues, life transitions, self-acceptance, and ADHD management. My therapeutic approach integrates mindfulness based therapies Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Other techniques that are often integrated into my practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). All techniques are seen through a sex positive lens. I am personally LGBTQA+ and neurodivergent proud. Regardless of your concern, I will work in partnership with you to find possible solutions.
