My psych is always willing to listen to how I feel about my own mental health, correct the dosages appropriately for each med change as we dial in what I need, and compromise with me about changes I think would be fitting. All in Show moreall, the appointments are incredibly fluent, the process is most intuitive for online sessions, and they send ample reminders at appropriate times for upcoming appointments. Over the last several months, I have been very appreciative of their help in my personal growth.
I had a great experience both with PMHNP Joe's office staff and with Joe himself during our first telehealth appointment today. He was friendly, easy to talk to, validating, knowledgeable, and practical: all the things I'm lookingShow more for in a mental health provider. He collected my history and we made a plan going forward that seems like it's going to work really well. I'm really happy I found Synchronous Mental Health and I'd happily recommend them to anyone seeking out the services they provide.

Sam takes the time to really listen to the patient and gets to know them without feeling like it's an interogating. I feel very comfortable with asking him about meds I've read or about and we discuss everything about that med. Not just the typical short and snarky physician standard "No, that's not for you" . He's a great part of my healthcare specialists.

Joe is understanding, non-judgmental, knowledgeable, to-the-point, and thorough. I'm super happy I started seeing him.
Dr. Joe is great! Very compassionate and listens to my ideas & questions. He allows me to advocate for myself! Not many mental health practitioners do that. I found him after having to leave my past practitioner of 7 years, with mental health care, finding someone new can be a gamble. I won when I found Dr. Joe. Very thankful for him!

As always, I really value my check-ins with Joe. They're brief (which, when my meds aren't changing, is super convenient) but certainly cover everything that needs to be covered. Joe really knows his stuff and is compassionate and non-judgmental. I'm grateful I found him & his office.
