I had my first video appointment with Dr. Mekles today. He listened, got right to the point, didn't coddle me or mince words, and I liked that about him. Although I'm anxious to start weaning off my 20+ year dependence on a benzoShow more and begin taking a safer SSRI instead, he told me I was brave and he'll help get me through it. I got the impression that he's a man of his word and takes his work, and the health of his patients, very seriously. I look forward to our next appointment. Thanks, Doc!
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mekles. I've been seeing him for almost two years now, and he's always made himself available, keeping in consistent contact through phone and text. He is an attentive doctor who genuinely Show morewants to help me be the best version of myself and has been successful in this endeavor. He's helped me pull through a very difficult part of my life that I can say I've now overcome. Since seeing Dr. M, I've never pushed myself harder or been more confident in myself.

I would highly recommend this physician.
Post 1.5 years UPDATE After 1.5 years, seeing Dr. Mekles. he still doesn't dissapoint. Very caring and concerned. I'm feeling much better under his care while the doctor makes sure that all the pieces - including physical, which is importnat for mental health. He's extremely gentile and welcomes questions and patient suggestions. Still highly recommend.

Dr. Mekles has been helping me tremendously. I like his straight-to-the-point communication, his sense of humor, and easy accessibility. If you're looking to be gently coddled, or if you have very thin skin, he may not be the best fit for you. If you're seriously committed to feeling better with regard to your mental health and general well-being, he's the perfect doctor for you, and will be there every step of the way. He keeps his promises, and that's a big deal to me. Glad I found him!

I was happy with his bedside manner but didn’t understand how he could not have done psychology evaluation with not knowing me and some one like social security does it all the time for the disability claim I had it done for me several times in the past
